Welcome to PAM Foundation’s Perinatal Mental Health Systematic Review App (“PAM SR App”), a collaboration between the PAM Foundation, the University of Oxford, and the University of York.
The PAM SR App contains a database of Systematic Reviews, classified by key categories, and has been developed to enhance our understanding of Perinatal Mental Health (“PMH”) research, ask questions, and highlight areas that need further attention.
PMH affects women, and men, much to the same extent globally; however, the database shows that in the research, unsurprisingly, much of the world is underrepresented and neglected. Mirrored in a comparative lack of resources and support in those areas.
We have presented our key findings here, but anyone interested in learning more, from researchers through to policy makers, can interrogate the database here.
Before analysing the research we recommend you understand the underlying papers, their classifications, and limitations of the app, which can be found here.
